Collision Dynamics of Polarized Solitons in Linearly Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations

چکیده
The system of linearly coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations is solved by a conservative difference scheme in complex arithmetic. The initial condition represents a superposition of two one-soliton solutions of linear polarizations. The head-on and takeover interaction of the solitons and their quasi-particle (QP) behavior is examined in conditions of rotational polarization and gain. We found that the polarization angle of a quasi-particle can change independently of the collision.

Collision dynamics of elliptically polarized solitons in Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
We investigate numerically the collision dynamics of elliptically polarized solitons of the System of Coupled Nonlinear chrödinger Equations (SCNLSE) for various different initial polarizations and phases. General initial elliptic polarizations (not ech-shape) include as particular cases the circular and linear polarizations. The elliptically polarized solitons are computed by separate numerica...

Spectral stability of multihump vector solitons in the Hamiltonian system of coupled nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations is investigated both analytically and numerically. Using the closure theorem for the negative index of the linearized Hamiltonian, we classify all possible bifurcations of unstable eigenvalues in the systems of coupled NLS equations with cubic and saturable nonlinearities. ...
متن کاملConservative Numerical Scheme in Complex Arithmetic for Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
For the Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations (CNLSE) we construct a conservative fully implicit numerical scheme using complex arithmetic which allows to reduce the computational time fourfold. We obtain various results numerically and investigate the role of the nonlinear and linear coupling. For nontrivial but moderate nonlinear coupling parameter, we find that the polarization of the syst...
متن کاملDarboux Transformation and N-Soliton Solution for the Coupled Modified Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
The pulse propagation in the picosecond or femtosecond regime of birefringent optical fibers is governed by the coupled mixed derivative nonlinear Schrödinger (CMDNLS) equations. A new type of Lax pair associated with such coupled equations is derived from the Wadati–Konno–Ichikawa spectral problem. The Darboux transformation method is applied to this integrable model, and the N-times iteration...
متن کاملGeneral N-Dark–Dark Solitons in the Coupled Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
N-dark–dark solitons in the integrable coupled NLS equations are derived by the KP-hierarchy reduction method. These solitons exist when nonlinearities are all defocusing, or both focusing and defocusing nonlinearities are mixed. When these solitons collide with each other, energies in both components of the solitons completely transmit through. This behavior contrasts collisions of bright–brig...
